Dr. Dirk Koester
Dirk Koester is a researcher
in cognitive neuroscience with a background in psychology.
Now at Bielefeld University & CITEC, Dirk set up and is in
charge of the EEG lab in the Action and
Neurocognition Research Group.
One strand of my research are
actions and effects of motor control/planning. I'm also
interested in whether and how action interacts with language.
Other parts
of my research focus on the mental lexicon, ie the
vocabulary we carry around in our brains; for one language
or for more.
